Job Description :
Record all stock entry digitally, and manage physical storage;
Follow up jewelry production from conception stage to completion.

Assist executives in their different tasks, spanning communication, marketing, PR, Commercial …; all facets inherent of launching a product on the market.

Profile :
Swiss or European working permit.

An affiliate of one of Europe’s largest producers and distributors of jewelry items wishes to appoint an experienced Stone Buying Manager for its Thailand operations.

Based in Bangkok, the Stone Buying Manager will:
· Coordinate with the Production team to acquire the production plan and gems requirement plan
· Source, assess, and select gems suppliers with standard tools and criteria; determine criteria to monitor performance of selected suppliers
· Maintain good relationships with suppliers; specifically suppliers of diamond in Thailand, Hong Kong, and India
· Process purchase orders and negotiate on pricing and related commercial conditions
· Mange in-coming schedules, transportation and insurance operations
· Manage in-coming inspection as required by related standard and process claims
· Delegate responsibilities, provide coaching, and monitor individual performance of 27 subordinates

Qualifications and skills required:
· Thai national, age around 35 - 45 years
· Degree in Business Administration and certification in gems testing and evaluation from a recognized gemological institute
· Minimum 7-10 years experience in sourcing and buying stones; in-depth knowledge of diamond grading would be advantage
· Possess a good connection with quality gems suppliers
· Strong organizational, negotiation, and team management skills
· Able to operate communication and computation tools
· Good command of both written and spoken English
